History

1945 09 Yoshimitsu Terada establishes Y-Yacht Trading Co. at 2-8 Motoshige-cho, Naka-ku, Nagoya.
Starts selling Y-Yacht antimony products. The foundation of the company is built.
1949 06 Establishes Y-Yacht Metal Industries, Ltd (the capital: 500,000 yen). Yoshimitsu Terada takes up the post of president, and starts selling products of other companies.
09 Opens Osaka branch at 26 Kamiyama-cho, Kita-ku, Osaka.
1958 04 Increases capital to 1,000,000 yen.
1959 04 Opens Tokyo branch at 3-10 Asakusakotobuki-cho, Taito-ku, Tokyo
1961 04 Builts Nishiki storage plant at 1-7-44 Nishiki, Naka-ku, Nagoya.
1963 09 Moves Osaka branch to the newly built office at 4-40-3 Nagai, Sumiyoshi-ku, Osaka.
1966 09 Builts new Nishiki storage plant (reinforced, three-story building) at 1-7-44 Nishiki, Naka-ku, Nagoya.
1969 05 Moves Tokyo branch to the newly built office (reinforced, three-story building) at 5-8-5 Kiba, Koto-ku, Tokyo.
1970 01 Increases capital to 5,000,000 yen.
1971 05 The first president Yoshimitsu Terada dies. Shizue Terada takes up the post of president.
1974 04 Moves Osaka branch to the newly built office at 6-3-25 Yuzato, Higashisumiyoshi-ku, Osaka.
05 Increases capital to 10,000,000 yen.
1977 08 Increases capital to 20,000,000 yen.
Moves the headquarters to the newly built office (reinforced, four-story building) at 3-13-41 Matsubara, Naka-ku, Nagoya.
Increases capital to 30,000,000 yen.
1979 10 Opens Fukuoka branch at 2-33-23 Higashihie, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka.
1984 11 Increases capital to 45,000,000 yen.
1985 08 Changes the company name to Y-Yacht Co., Ltd.
10 Moves Tokyo branch to the newly built office (reinforced, three-story building with basement) at 2-3-28 Sengoku, Koto-ku, Tokyo
1986 08 Shizue Terada takes up the post of board chairperson.
Kiyoshi Terada takes up the post of president.
1989 10 Moves Fukuoka branch to the newly built office (reinforced, four-story building) at 1-8-7 Kamimuta, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka.
1992 02 Builds a distribution center Y.N.C. (Y-Yacht Network Center) in Gifuhashima.
2001 07 Expands Y.N.C. (Y-Yacht Network Center) to approx. 16,500 m2.
2004 09 Kiyoshi Terada takes up the post of board chairperson.
Akihiko Terada takes up the post of president.
2006 02 Opens Sapporo Sales Office in Toyohira-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido.
2007 02 Opens “La Cucina Felice” flagship store in Omotesando, Tokyo.
2007 08 Expands Y.N.C. (Y-Yacht Network Center) to approx. 33,000 m2.
2007 09 Opens the second “La Cucina Felice” specialty store in Ebis, Tokyo.
2008 11 Opens the third “La Cucina Felice” in Nishinomiya Hyogo.
2009 03 Opens the third “La Cucina Felice” in Kokura Fukuoka.
